TRAVEL PLANS FOR 2009
OUR PHILOSOPHY FOR 2009
Things have moved rather quickly here. We have good friends who are rebuilding their house here in North Vancouver and needed a place to live for a year as the rebuild took place. WOW .... here is the perfect opportunity for us to take the full year travel trip we have been thinking about for years. They can move in here, take care of the place, and we can become totally footloose and fancy free for a whole year!!!!
The Tentative Plan:
- Head to Junction City where we will have the cabinetry fixed up around our new front LCD TV
- Then to Desert Hot Springs for a brief time depending on what happens in Junction City
- We have booked 3 months in Del Pueblo RV Park in Yuma Dec 5th to March 5th
- A trip to Casa Grande March 5th to 19th
- Wander around in the south until May 1st
- Head back to BC by May 15th to renew our travel health insurance
- Visit relatives in Ontario
- Make our way East to Newfoundland for a couple of months
- Wander around the Maritimes for a while
- Slowly wander back through the mid states seeing all the places we previously skimmed over
- Arrive home in late October.
ALL OF THE ABOVE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE ...
Just how accurate this list will be is totally up in the air. We will spend this year just wandering and enjoying ourselves making sure that there are no set firm plans!!!!! As a good RV'ing friends of ours said... "The best travel plans are laid in jello".

As for future Outside of North American Trips, we have decided to become just a tad more scientific with our choices ....
